Nasty biters top The Gerb for fourth straight win in 102.0-100.5 thriller

Nasty biters extended their win streak to four games with a tight victory over The Gerb, eking out a 102.0-100.5 win. The Gerb had a chance to come from behind on Monday night, but they fell short. Nasty biters led 102.0-94.0 after Sunday's action and held on for the win despite 6.5 points from Justin Herbert on Monday night for The Gerb. Nasty biters were led by Gardner Minshew II, who passed for 355 yards and 2 touchdowns for 24.7 points, and Matt Gay, who made all 3 of his FG attempts (19 points). This marks the second time this season Nasty biters have beaten The Gerb, after winning 113.62-112.76 in their last matchup.

You know, football is all about exploiting the mismatches. Thanks to a sound showing by Gardner Minshew II, we nearly quadrupled The Gerb at the quarterback position this past week (24.7 points to 6.5). Minshew II went 24-for-40 for 355 yards, two TDs, and two INTs in a 40-34 loss to the Cowboys.
