There's no way around it, Woverines didn't do their job, at least based on projections, as Trending Tailbacks came out on top with a 148.10-136.80 win. Trending Tailbacks nabbed a 43.32-point lead on Thursday behind impressive showings from Justin Jefferson (29.34 points) and Mac Jones (382 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs) and never looked back. Tee Higgins (7 Rec, 114 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Geno Smith (328 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 22 Rush Yds) did everything they could for Woverines in the loss. This marks the second time this season Trending Tailbacks have knocked off Woverines, after winning 180.62-155.54 in their last matchup.
