RIO TOKYO knock off Sad Sacks for third straight win, 169-136
RIO TOKYO extended their win streak to three games with a hard-fought win over Sad Sacks, securing a 169-136 victory. Sad Sacks jumped out to a 34-point lead on Thursday behind outstanding performances from Christian Kirksey, who made 7 tackles for 24 points, and A.J. Brown, who caught 4 passes for 59 yards and a touchdown (11 points). But RIO TOKYO held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Jordyn Brooks, who made 12 tackles for 47 points, and Foye Oluokun, who made 9 tackles (32 points). RIO TOKYO (7-2) will look to sustain their winning ways against Iām winning this league šš¼, while Sad Sacks (0-9) face tom's Rad Team in an effort to earn their first victory.
Eskridge didn't record any offensive stats as the Seahawks beat the Cardinals 31-21. In doing so, he put up 4 points and more-than-doubled his scoring projection, the highest percent increase of any player on RIO TOKYO this week. Next week, Eskridge will face the Buccaneers.
RIO TOKYO
Sure, we ultimately got the win, but there's really no other way for us to spin this, RIO TOKYO. Our running backs were thoroughly outplayed by the opposition. Kene Nwangwu (zero yards from scrimmage, no TDs) logged only 6 points in Week 9, while the starting backfield for Sad Sacks showed us how it's supposed to be done by putting up a score of 34. Let's work with the O-line to find some more holes in Week 10!
Sad Sacks
Hey, it's possible that Sad Sacks would be a better GM in the NFL than in fantasy football. Seeing just 20 targets as a group this past week, their seven wide receivers apparently contributed to their teams' offenses by blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
