DemonApps fall short of expectations, still manage to top The Bad News Bears, 102.48-93.50

There's no easy way to say it, DemonApps underperformed, at least based on projections. Still, they came out on top with a 102.48-93.50 win over The Bad News Bears. The Bad News Bears nabbed a 30.20-point lead on Thursday behind stellar showings from Patrick Mahomes (16.6 points) and Travis Kelce (7.6). But DemonApps held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Jaylen Waddle (36.6 points) and Nick Chubb (30.8). DemonApps (1-1) will look to build on their success against Georgiana, while The Bad News Bears (1-1) take on Touchdown Tigers in an effort to get back on track.

Coach Talk

DemonApps
Listen, DemonApps, we do certainly appreciate the confidence. Deploying a player with zero points (Cole Kmet), while still getting the win... talk about arrogant! All we ask is to please keep those flashy shenanigans to the early regular season. Do it when the postseason rolls around, and we'll be toast.
The Bad News Bears
Hey, The Bad News Bears, what did your receiving crew do to get written out of their teams' game plans this week? Accumulating just six targets as a group in Week 2, our four wide receivers clearly got on their respective QBs' bad sides.
