Both teams were frustrated by starters who put up goose eggs, but Rhode Island Reds were able to persevere and earn the win, earning a 326.7-277.7 victory over Omaha Orangatans. Omaha Orangatans earned a 44.0-point lead on Thursday, but Rhode Island Reds held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by the Atlanta Falcons defense (64.6 points) and Tony Pollard (61.4). Justin Fields (153 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 85 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Russell Wilson (247 Pass Yds) led the way for Omaha Orangatans in the loss. This marks the first time this season Rhode Island Reds have gotten the best of Omaha Orangatans, after falling 392.5-363.15 in their last matchup. Rhode Island Reds (4-7) will look to keep it rolling against Jersey Generals, while Omaha Orangatans (9-2) will try to get some positive momentum against Fort Worth Gunslingers.
