L-Diggity find way to defeat Hades Star 157.7-93.8 despite falling short of predictions

Both teams were unable to rise to the occasion, coming up short of projections, but L-Diggity did enough to take down Hades Star. Predicted to win 181.4-165.8, L-Diggity emerged victorious with a 157.7-93.8 win over Hades Star. L-Diggity grabbed an early 12.0-point lead on Thursday. Hades Star bounced back to take the lead early Sunday, powered by Adam Thielen (19.5 points) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (13.4). Unphased, L-Diggity got it going later that night, as Tua Tagovailoa (31.3 points) put them back ahead once and for all. This marks the second time this season L-Diggity have gotten the best of Hades Star, after winning 156.7-156.1 in their last matchup. L-Diggity (8-6) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs, while Hades Star (8-6) will attempt to bounce back and make a run of their own in the postseason.

Coach Talk

L-Diggity
You know L-Diggity, the good news is that we took this matchup by almost 64 points. The better news is that we've proven we're even better than this, as our scoring average through Week 13 stood at 166.9. So yes, we're happy to have earned this victory, but let's also get back up to where we know we can be!
Hades Star
Listen, I've been in this industry long enough to know that every once in a while, free points can just randomly appear out of nowhere. And then in some cases, like this week, they don't! Well, hmmm, alright... maybe asking for an extra 64 points is a bit excessive. Keep your head up, Hades Star!
