Texas Blitz lose to Gardettos in 109.65-82.65 romp

Texas Blitz failed to rise to the occasion, as Gardettos cruised to a 109.65-82.65 win. Gardettos earned an early 17.65-point lead on Thursday. Texas Blitz came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by Nick Chubb (29.3 points) and Pat Freiermuth (8.2). Unphased, Gardettos made a run later that afternoon, as Brandon McManus (12 points) and Josh Jacobs (8.1) put them back in the lead for good. Gardettos (2-0) will look to maintain their winning ways against Out for Blood, while Texas Blitz (0-2) will take on JonnyFab in an effort to develop some positive momentum.

Coach Talk

Gardettos
Wow, Gardettos, you really made a statement to the rest of the league with this blowout. Not only did you win by 27 points, you also climbed a couple of spots in the league standings!
Texas Blitz
Unless Texas Blitz wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing many opportunities" doesn't fly as an excuse this week. As a group, our trio of pass-catchers (two WR, one TE) collectively received a respectable 24 targets in Week 2. Those players might need to hit the practice field, considering they pulled down only 14 catches.
