Back-and-forth battle ends with TMT coming back to defeat SKINS #2 in 323.87-320.46 battle
Well, that was exciting! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, TMT earned a come-from-behind victory over SKINS #2, staging an impressive comeback for a 323.87-320.46 win. Trailing 309.56-295.77 heading into Monday night, TMT came back behind Michael Pittman Jr. (7 Rec, 61 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Patrick Mahomes (320 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 36 Rush Yds) and Miles Sanders (143 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 17 Rec Yds) did everything they could for SKINS #2 in defeat. This marks the second time this season TMT have gotten the best of SKINS #2, after winning 268.53-262.17 in their last matchup. TMT (9-3) will look to sustain their momentum against VJ WHO-DEY!, while SKINS #2 (5-7) take on Redzboyz in an effort to right the ship.
Abdullah (16 Rush Yds, 39 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) scored 28.3 points against the Seahawks in Week 12. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 13.47-point projection and was much higher than his 11.2-point season scoring average. Abdullah will face the Chargers next week.
Thursday
Graham Gano had a 57-yard field goal for SKINS #2 to contribute to a 77.63-68.00 lead for SKINS #2.
Sunday Late
There were players with standout plays for both teams on Sunday afternoon, but after all the points were tallied, TMT had a 278.67-231.46 lead. Justin Herbert had a 33-yard touchdown pass for TMT, while Tyler Lockett had a 35-yard touchdown catch. Patrick Mahomes made the highlight reel for SKINS #2 with a 39-yard touchdown pass.
TMT
We're curious if the GM of TMT was feeling a bit squeamish this one? In a matchup that was ultimately decided by a mere 3.41 points, Brett Maher (0-of-1 on the day) thought that going 1-for-1 on field goals would've made things just a bit too boring. Remember folks, every point matters!
SKINS #2
Registering only four targets this past week, it appears that the starting running backs for SKINS #2 should work to smooth things over with their quarterbacks... and remind them to dump it off more frequently.
