Naperville Endgame fall short of projections, lose to Springfield Atoms in 114-76 blowout

There's no sugarcoating it, Naperville Endgame underdelivered, at least compared to projections, as Springfield Atoms cruised to a 114-76 victory. Springfield Atoms got out to a 9-point lead on Thursday behind the Buffalo Bills defense and never let it go. Jalen Hurts (27 points) and Joe Mixon (14) carried the flag for Naperville Endgame in defeat. Springfield Atoms (1-0) will look to keep it rolling against Butler Jets, while Naperville Endgame (0-1) try to get back on track against Throw up the X.

Coach Talk

Springfield Atoms
Kudos to you, Springfield Atoms. Putting together a lineup that won by a whopping 38 points this past week. Let's maintain this momentum as we move on to what's sure to be a particularly challenging matchup in Week 2.
Naperville Endgame
It's entirely possible that Naperville Endgame may be a better GM in real football than in fantasy. With just 14 total targets this past week, their four starting pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) apparently contributed to their teams' offenses by blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
