GTK2 knock off John's Groovy Team in 151.70-97.88 romp

Both teams showed up and outperformed expectations, but it was GTK2 who got the win, rolling to a 151.70-97.88 victory over John's Groovy Team. GTK2 pulled out to a 12.30-point lead on Thursday behind Dallas Goedert (20 points) and DeVonta Smith (3.2) and never relinquished it. Kenyan Drake (93 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 16 Rec Yds) and Dameon Pierce (139 Rush Yds) did everything they could for John's Groovy Team in defeat. GTK2 (5-4) will look to keep it rolling against Daniels's Dandy Team, while John's Groovy Team (4-5) will match up against Tyler C's Crazy Team in an effort to get back on track.

Coach Talk

GTK2
Yo, GTK2, have you been practicing any gymnastics lately? In addition to a nearly 54-point victory, you also spring-boarded four spots to third place in the league standings... right into the thick of postseason contention
John's Groovy Team
Well, we certainly can't complain about a shortage of opportunities this time, can we? As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 13 times in Week 9. Those players should spend extra practice time working with their QBs, considering they recorded just seven receptions.
