GTK2 come up short of predictions, still manage to knock off Swift Beatings, 95.62-75.10

Both teams were unable to rise to the occasion, falling short of their projected point totals, but GTK2 did enough to get the best of Swift Beatings, earning a 95.62-75.10 victory. GTK2 never trailed in this one after earning an 8.40-point lead on Thursday behind Michael Pittman Jr.. Cooper Kupp (7 Rec, 125 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Kyler Murray (250 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 42 Rush Yds) were the leading performers for Swift Beatings in the loss. GTK2 (3-2) will look to keep it rolling against Patrick's Primo Team, while Swift Beatings (3-2) meet Tyler C's Crazy Team in an effort to develop some positive momentum.

Next Week Preview

GTK2
Two squads with matching 3-2 records, GTK2 and Patrick's Primo Team will go toe-to-toe next week in an early-season showdown. Through five weeks of action, GTK2 have accumulated the seventh-most points in the league. Patrick's Primo Team (and their 125.8 points per game) are ranked first. Over the last three weeks, GTK2 have scored 90.15 points per game, while Patrick's Primo Team have averaged 121.28 per contest.
Swift Beatings
The outlook doesn't immediately get any more appealing for third-place Swift Beatings, as they now have the privilege of facing off against first-place Tyler C's Crazy Team in Week 6. Swift Beatings might need to rearrange their lineup a bit with Darren Waller and D'Andre Swift out on bye in Week 6. Tyler C's Crazy Team won't have T.J. Hockenson.
