Tossin' TDs succumb to GTK2 in 115.78-91.72 romp
Tossin' TDs were unable to rise to the occasion, as GTK2 rolled to a 115.78-91.72 win. Tossin' TDs pulled out to a 10.10-point lead on Thursday, but it was all GTK2 after that. They were led by Tyreek Hill (36.5 points) and Matthew Stafford (20.88). Amon-Ra St. Brown (68 Rush Yds, 116 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Jalen Hurts (333 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 57 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) did their part for Tossin' TDs in the loss. GTK2 (2-0) will look to build on their success against Tyler C's Crazy Team, while Tossin' TDs (1-1) try to get back in the win column against 49ers Faithful Empire.
Hill was one of three starters to overachieve for GTK2 this week. He scored 36.5 points (11 Rec, 190 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) in a 42-38 win over the Ravens to more-than-double his 13.79-point projection. Hill ranks #10 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Bills next week.
Sunday Early
Both teams had players with highlight-reel plays early Sunday, but it was GTK2 who owned the lead, 84.10-41.00. Tyreek Hill had a 60-yard touchdown catch and a 48-yard touchdown catch for GTK2, while Christian McCaffrey had a 49-yard run. Amon-Ra St. Brown made the highlight reel for Tossin' TDs with a 58-yard run and a 49-yard catch.
Monday
Jalen Hurts had a 53-yard touchdown pass and a 26-yard touchdown run for Tossin' TDs.
GTK2
Deploying a lineup that won by over 24 points this past week... we took care of business and did what had to be done. We should take this win in stride, tip our cap to the GM of Tossin' TDs, and continue our march towards the Yahoo Public 1150310 league championship.
Tossin' TDs
Ugh, talk about under-utilized: The starting RBs for Tossin' TDs collectively registered two receptions on just three measly targets this past week. Get those offensive coordinators to draw up a screen play or two in Week 3!
