SOME OF THAT! earn win over Ballaholics in 164.28-114.24 runaway
SOME OF THAT! showed up and beat their projected point total, cruising to a 164.28-114.24 win over Ballaholics, who fell short of projections. Ballaholics earned a 20.60-point lead on Thursday, but it was all SOME OF THAT! after that. They were led by Deebo Samuel, who caught 8 passes for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns for 37.7 points, and Jalen Hurts, who passed for 387 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 47 yards (29.18 points). Lamar Jackson (316 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 28 Rush Yds) and Kenneth Gainwell (31 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 58 Rec Yds) did their part for Ballaholics in defeat. SOME OF THAT! (3-1) will look to sustain their winning ways against OG DeepValleyBoltz, while Ballaholics (2-2) will attempt to get back on track against Cali Green Monster.
With 37.7 points, Samuel more-than-doubled his 15.2-point projection as the 49ers lost to the Seahawks 28-21. He caught 8 passes for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns to beat his projection by the second-highest percentage of any WR in the league this season. Samuel will face the Cardinals in Week 5.
Sunday Early
Jonathan Taylor had a 23-yard touchdown run for SOME OF THAT! to contribute to a 76.18-56.40 lead for the team.
Sunday Late
There were players with highlight-reel plays on both teams on Sunday afternoon, but it was SOME OF THAT! who emerged with the lead, 164.28-93.94. For SOME OF THAT!, Deebo Samuel had a 76-yard touchdown catch. Lamar Jackson made the highlight reel for Ballaholics with a 49-yard touchdown pass.
SOME OF THAT!
You know what, SOME OF THAT!, we do certainly respect the confidence. Deploying a starter with zero points (Robbie Gould), while still earning a win... that's borderline cocky. We just ask you to please limit those flashy shenanigans to the early regular season. Try it in the playoffs and we'll be toast.
Ballaholics
Unless Ballaholics wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing enough opportunities" is not a viable excuse this time around. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR and one TE) combined to receive a grand total of 25 targets in Week 4. With just 15 total catches, that group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
