🏈Gridiron & Wine 🍷
Earning the win is most important, 🏈Gridiron & Wine 🍷, but we've also identified one spot where we should improve as a team: our running backs were utterly outplayed this past week. Buoyed by Phillip Lindsay (eight yards from scrimmage, no TDs) and J.D. McKissic (93 yards, no TDs), our three RBs combined for just 24.9 points in Week 8, while the starting backfield for New Calvinists doubled us up with a score of 52.8. Let's bug the offensive coordinator to get some more touches in Week 9!
New Calvinists
Well, we certainly can't complain about a shortage of opportunities this time, can we? Our five pass-catchers (four WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 26 times in Week 8. Those players might need to get some extra reps with the JUGS machine, considering they reeled in just 13 balls.
