Despite top scorer the Cowboys defense, Satan's Soldiers fall to Mean Machine, 123-78
The Dallas Cowboys defense posted 26 points for Satan's Soldiers, the best total in the matchup and 13th-best in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to overcome Mean Machine, who secured a 123-78 victory. Satan's Soldiers nabbed a 27-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind impressive showings from the Dallas Cowboys defense (26 points) and Patrick Mahomes (22). But Mean Machine held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Justin Herbert (275 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 19 Rush Yds) and Chris Godwin (10 Rec, 105 Rec Yds). This marks the second time this season Mean Machine have knocked off Satan's Soldiers, after winning 148-93 in their last matchup. Mean Machine (8-6) will look to keep it rolling in the playoffs. Satan's Soldiers will be home for the playoffs, finishing the season at 6-8.
Gay (3-3 FG, 55 long, 3-3 XP) scored 14 points against the Cardinals in Week 14. His scoring output was 71.1% more than his 8.18-point projection and was higher than his 9.5-point season scoring average. Gay ranks #84 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Seahawks next week.

Mean Machine
Hey Mean Machine, the good news is that we took this matchup by 45 points. The *even better* news is that we know we're stronger than this... in fact, our team's scoring average through Week 13 stood at 130.54. So while we're happy to have earned this victory, let's get back up to where we know we can be!
Satan's Soldiers
It's entirely possible that Satan's Soldiers might be a better GM in real football than in fantasy. Seeing just seven targets combined in Week 14, their four starting pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) apparently did a superb job blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
