Megaton come back to defeat Mert's Marauders in 121.08-116.16 struggle
Both teams failed to rise to the occasion, coming up short of projections, but Megaton did enough to knock off Mert's Marauders, staging a comeback for a 121.08-116.16 win. Megaton trailed 116.16-105.78 heading into Sunday night, but the team made a run behind Greg Zuerlein (8-8 XP) and Michael Gallup (2 Rec, 53 Rec Yds). Josh Allen (314 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 64 Rush Yds) and Gerald Everett (4 Rec, 68 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) carried the flag for Mert's Marauders in defeat. This marks the second time this season Megaton have gotten the best of Mert's Marauders, after winning 148.54-137.3 in their last matchup.
The Eagles defense (10 Pts Allowed, 192 Yds Allowed, 2 Turnovers) scored 16 points in a 34-10 win over the Giants in Week 16. Their scoring output nearly doubled their 8.65-point projection and was higher than their 11.75-point season scoring average. The Eagles defense will face the Football Team next week.

Megaton
Earning the win is most important, Megaton, but we've also identified one spot where we should improve as a team. Our starting QB was utterly outplayed by the opposition. Josh Allen went 30-of-47 for 314 yards and three touchdowns for Mert's Marauders, and all Tom Brady could muster was an 18-for-30 day, with 232 yards and one passing TD.
Mert's Marauders
With only one reception on five targets this past week, the starting running backs for Mert's Marauders should remind their quarterbacks to get them more involved (and dial up a screen play or two).
