Nightmares come up short of predictions, lose to CHEMDAWGS in 147.95-96.10 romp

There's no easy way to put it, Nightmares dropped the ball, at least compared to projections, as CHEMDAWGS cruised to a 147.95-96.10 win. Nightmares pulled out to a 13.00-point lead on Thursday, but it was all CHEMDAWGS after that. They were led by Josh Allen (308 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 109 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Robby Anderson (7 Rec, 84 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Javonte Williams (73 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 10 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Matt Ryan (190 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD) were the top scorers for Nightmares in defeat. This marks the second time this season CHEMDAWGS have beaten Nightmares, after winning 108.45-95.75 in their last matchup. CHEMDAWGS will look to keep the streak alive in the next round of the playoffs.

Coach Talk

CHEMDAWGS
Hey, the key to football is exploiting the mismatches. Thanks to a sound display by Josh Allen, we thoroughly dominated Nightmares at the quarterback position this past week (42.3 points to 15.8). Allen went 36-for-54 for 308 yards, two TDs, and an INT in a 33-27 loss to the Buccaneers.
Nightmares
With one catch on just two measly targets this past week, the starting running backs for Nightmares should investigate why their QBs are giving them the cold shoulder.
