FDC Chiefs fall short of predictions, lose to The Xtreme in 147.65-112.15 blowout
FDC Chiefs were unable to bring their A game, coming up short of their projected point total, as The Xtreme cruised to a 147.65-112.15 win. FDC Chiefs jumped out to a 38.65-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind outstanding performances from Joe Burrow (16.35 points) and Tee Higgins (16). But it was all The Xtreme after that. They were led by Aaron Rodgers (255 Pass Yds, 4 Pass TDs) and Brandin Cooks (9 Rec, 78 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). The Xtreme (1-1) will look to keep it rolling against Team Tadlock, while FDC Chiefs (0-2) will try to right the ship against Rooster's.
Cooks was one of six starters to overachieve for The Xtreme this week. He scored 22.8 points (9 Rec, 78 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) in a 31-21 lost to the Browns to beat his 14.65-point projection. Cooks ranks #36 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Panthers next week.
Sunday Early
Joe Burrow had a 42-yard touchdown pass for FDC Chiefs to contribute to an 80.15-41.50 lead for the team.
Sunday Late
Julio Jones had a 51-yard catch for The Xtreme, who trailed 112.15-80.60 after the late slate.
Monday
Aaron Rodgers teamed up with Davante Adams for a 50-yard pass for The Xtreme. Rodgers also lit up the scoreboard with a 22-yard touchdown pass on Monday night, helping lead The Xtreme to the win.
The Xtreme
Hey, the key to football is spotting the mismatches. Thanks to a thrilling display by Aaron Rodgers, we doubled up FDC Chiefs at the quarterback position this past week (37.35 points to 16.35). Rodgers went 22-for-27 for 255 yards and four TDs in a 35-17 win over the Lions.
FDC Chiefs
Our quarterback threw three interceptions and just a pair of touchdowns? It might be wise to go back and review the game tape: Was Joe Burrow actually that shaky in the pocket, or were the Bears just that great defending the pass? What do you think, FDC Chiefs, do we continue to start him with confidence?
