Despite top scorer Allen, Tampa Thunder fall to Chapel Bulls in 108-105 struggle

Tampa Thunder had the top scorer in the matchup with QB Josh Allen posting 33 points, the second-highest total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to overcome Chapel Bulls, who eked out a 108-105 victory. Chapel Bulls led 106-105 heading into Monday night with one player left to play. They were fortunate to have the lead already, as Mike Gesicki (2 points) didn't do much to pad their point total. Josh Allen (33 points) and A.J. Brown (20) did everything they could for Tampa Thunder in the loss. This marks the second time this season Chapel Bulls have knocked off Tampa Thunder, after winning 120-109 in their last matchup.

Coach Talk

Chapel Bulls
Well, we do appreciate the confidence this past week, Chapel Bulls. Deploying a starter with zero points (Chuba Hubbard), while still earning a win... that's playing with fire.
Tampa Thunder
Talk about under-utilized. As a group, the starting RBs for Tampa Thunder collectively recorded only zero receptions on three measly targets this past week.
