Desert Eagles come up short of projections, succumb to Shalabajzeri, 90-62

Desert Eagles were unable to bring their A game, falling short of their projected point total, as Shalabajzeri earned a 90-62 win. Shalabajzeri grabbed an early 5-point lead on Thursday. Desert Eagles came back to take the lead early Sunday, powered by Diontae Johnson (9 points) and D'Onta Foreman (8). Unphased, Shalabajzeri made a run later that afternoon, as Matthew Stafford (28 points) and AJ Dillon (14) put them back in the lead once and for all. This marks the first time this season Shalabajzeri have gotten the best of Desert Eagles, after falling 106-105 in their last matchup. Shalabajzeri (5-7) will look to keep it rolling against Fools and Horses, while Desert Eagles (6-5-1) try to get back in the win column against spopov_k_2021.

Coach Talk

Shalabajzeri
The key to success in football is creating mismatches. Thanks to a stellar performance from Matthew Stafford, we utterly dominated Desert Eagles at the quarterback position this past week (28 points to 5). Stafford went 21-for-38 for 302 yards, three TDs, and an INT in a 36-28 loss to the Packers.
Desert Eagles
All of the cake, none of the icing: The six offensive skill starters (three WRs, two RBs, one TE) on Desert Eagles collectively gained a whopping 475 total yards. Not one of those players could find his way to the end zone in Week 12.
