Titletown smirk at expectations, earn win against G-Unit in 136.05-96.50 landslide

Titletown showed up and beat expectations, cruising to a 136.05-96.50 win over G-Unit, who fell short of projections. G-Unit grabbed a 13.80-point lead on Thursday, but Titletown held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by the New York Jets defense, who allowed 21 points, surrendered 384 yards, and forced a fumble for 34 points, and Justin Jackson, who racked up 162 yards from scrimmage and ran for 2 touchdowns (28.2 points). Damien Harris (28.3 points) and Justin Herbert (19.3) led the charge for G-Unit in the loss. This marks the first time this season Titletown have taken down G-Unit, after falling 105.3-93.6 in their last matchup.

Coach Talk

Titletown
Bravo, Titletown. Nice job fielding a lineup that blew the opponent out by a whopping 39.55 points this past week.
G-Unit
Unless G-Unit wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting enough looks" isn't really an excuse this time around. Our pass-catching corps (two WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 20 times in Week 16. Those players might need to get some extra reps with the JUGS machine, considering they notched only 12 receptions.
