SAWTOOTHS come up short of predictions, succumb to Negligent Discharges in 141.95-114.65 beatdown

There's no easy way to put it, SAWTOOTHS didn't do their job, at least compared to projections, as Negligent Discharges cruised to a 141.95-114.65 win. SAWTOOTHS leapt out to a 30.20-point lead on Thursday behind a combined 30.2 points from Lamar Jackson (238 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 39 Rush Yds) and Jaylen Waddle (4 Rec, 61 Rec Yds). But it was all Negligent Discharges after that. They were led by CeeDee Lamb, who racked up 106 yards from scrimmage and caught 2 touchdown passes for 29.55 points, and Mac Jones, who passed for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns (27.9 points). Negligent Discharges (5-5) will look to build on their success against WarEagle, while SAWTOOTHS (3-7) try to get back on track against Vultures.

Coach Talk

Negligent Discharges
Infinite hours in the film room. Innovative scheming from the Offensive Coordinator. Blood, sweat, and tears in training camp and in practice. 11 guys in the huddle, all on the same page. Every single route, every single throw, meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. A football that's maybe just a little deflated? Either way...19 completions on 23 attempts: good enough for an 83% completion percentage for Mac Jones this past week. The Browns secondary didn't know what hit 'em!.
SAWTOOTHS
Well, we certainly can't whine about a shortage of opportunities this time, can we? Our six pass-catchers (five WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 28 times in Week 10. With only 15 total receptions, that group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
