Back-and-forth battle ends with WarEagle coming back to beat Mutinous Apes in 132.6-96.5 beatdown

What a whirlwind! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, WarEagle earned a convincing victory over Mutinous Apes, rolling to a 132.6-96.5 win. Mutinous Apes took an early 14.2-point lead on Thursday. WarEagle came back to take the lead early afternoon Sunday, powered by impressive performances from Najee Harris (21 points) and Boston Scott (18). Unphased, Mutinous Apes rallied later that afternoon to take a 7.7-point lead behind Taylor Heinicke (16.5 points) and Antonio Gibson (8.4). But WarEagle came back again when it mattered most on Monday night, as Tyreek Hill (27.4 points) and Evan Engram (10.5) put them back in the lead once and for all. WarEagle (3-5) will look to build on their success against Hooligans, while Mutinous Apes (4-4) will face Doughboys in an effort to get back in the win column.

Coach Talk

WarEagle
You know WarEagle, the good news is that we took this matchup by over 36 points. The better news is that we've proven we're even better than this, as our scoring average through Week 7 stood at 142.82. So yes, we're happy to have gotten this victory, but let's also get back up to where we know we can be!
Mutinous Apes
Wait, our starting QB threw two interceptions and just a single touchdown? It might be wise to go back and review the game tape. Was Taylor Heinicke actually that sloppy from the pocket, or were the Broncos just that strong against the pass? You'll need to decide one way or the other, Mutinous Apes. The Football Team have a bye next week, so fortunately you have some extra time to think on that one!
