Doughboys fall to Redlegs in 137.80-106.85 romp

Doughboys were unable to rise to the occasion, falling short of projections, as Redlegs cruised to a 137.80-106.85 victory. Redlegs took a 23.25-point lead on Thursday behind Jonathan Taylor (34 points) and never looked back. Justin Jefferson (11 Rush Yds, 69 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Kenyan Drake (30 Rush Yds, 70 Rec Yds) did everything they could for Doughboys in the loss. Redlegs (3-6) will look to add to their success against Brewmasters, while Doughboys (6-3) will try to develop some positive momentum against Negligent Discharges.

Coach Talk

Redlegs
Nice work, Redlegs. Props on deploying a lineup that recorded almost 138 points this past matchup. Let's keep this momentum going as we roll into our next challenge in Week 10.
Doughboys
Unless Doughboys wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting many opportunities" doesn't fly as an excuse this time around. Our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) combined to receive a grand total of 41 targets in Week 9. Those players might need to hit the practice field, considering they recorded just 21 catches.
