The Cosmos fall short of expectations, lose to Outlawz, 85.34-62.14
The Cosmos underperformed projections, as Outlawz rallied for an 85.34-62.14 win. Outlawz trailed 62.14-57.34 heading into Sunday night, but the team came storming back behind the Dallas Cowboys defense (14 Pts Allowed, 257 Yds Allowed, 2 Turnovers) and Terry McLaurin (3 Rec, 40 Rec Yds). Justin Herbert (336 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 15 Rush Yds) and Matt Gay (3-3 FG, 32 long, 3-3 XP) were the leaders for The Cosmos in the loss. This marks the first time this season Outlawz have taken down The Cosmos, after falling 93.22-82.58 in their last matchup. Outlawz improve to 2-13 for the season, while The Cosmos fall to 6-9.
The Cowboys defense (14 Pts Allowed, 257 Yds Allowed, 2 Turnovers) scored 24 points in a 56-14 win over the Football Team in Week 16. Their scoring output more-than-doubled their 9.03-point projection and was much higher than their 12.8-point season scoring average. The Cowboys defense ranks #51 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Cardinals next week.

Outlawz
Listen, Outlawz, we do certainly admire the confidence. It's a bold move to deploy a player with zero points (Mike Evans), while still getting a win. All we ask is to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the regular season. Can you imagine how silly we'd look if we let it happen in the playoffs?
The Cosmos
There's a decent chance that The Cosmos could be a better talent scout in the NFL than in fantasy football. Seeing just 14 total targets in Week 16, their four starting pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) apparently made most of their contributions by blocking downfield and running decoy routes.
