Shanahan’s Doghouse top projections, defeat Evil Corp, 104.19-93.61

Shanahan’s Doghouse beat expectations, earning a 104.19-93.61 victory over Evil Corp, who fell short of projections. Evil Corp earned a 33.50-point lead on Thursday behind an impressive showing from Jonathan Taylor (172 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 28 Rec Yds). But Shanahan’s Doghouse held the lead the rest of the way, powered by the Cleveland Browns defense (20.5 points) and Jimmy Garoppolo (19.09). Shanahan’s Doghouse (2-7) will look to keep it rolling against Spyders, while Evil Corp (2-7) match up against TD's N' Beer in an effort to right the ship.

Coach Talk

Shanahan’s Doghouse
Hey, we'll definitely take the win, Shanahan’s Doghouse! Having said that, if we want to take our performance to the next level, then we have found an area to improve. Our running backs were severely outclassed by the opposition. Aaron Jones (53 yards from scrimmage, no TDs) logged just 14.95 points in Week 9, while the starting backfield for Evil Corp doubled us up with a score of 35.4. We need to bounce back with a big statement in Week 10!
Evil Corp
Welp, we certainly can't whine about a shortage of opportunities this week, can we? Our four pass-catchers (two WR, two TE) collectively saw a hearty 21 targets in Week 9. Chemistry could be an issue, as that group reeled in just 13 catches.
