Coach Talk

Evil Corp
Earning the win is most important, Evil Corp, but we certainly know of one spot where we can improve as a team: our quarterback was thoroughly outclassed by the opposition. Justin Herbert went 23-of-31 for 275 yards and three touchdowns for Smokin' Jays, and all Taylor Heinicke could manage through the air was 122 yards and one passing TD (plus an ugly interception). Let's spend some extra time this week working with our receivers!
Smokin' Jays
Unless Smokin' Jays wants to go full diva-mode, then "not getting many looks" won't cut it as an excuse this time around. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) collectively saw a whopping 21 targets in Week 14. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group reeled in just 13 receptions.
