Coach Talk

You know, the key to football is taking advantage of the mismatches. Thanks to a solid display from Justin Herbert, we nearly tripled Lucky Enuf at the quarterback position this past week (39.2 points to 14.1). Herbert went 32-for-38 for 356 yards and two TDs in a 27-24 win over the Eagles.

Well, we can't really whine about a shortage of opportunities this time, can we? As a group, our pass-catching corps (five WR, one TE) combined to see a respectable 45 targets in Week 9. With only 24 total receptions, that group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
