It's going to be a tough year if DARC NARC deals with pressure during the season the way they did in this draft. Picking No. 14 overall, they were clearly overmatched. While Stefon Diggs, Calvin Ridley, and DJ Moore are slated to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league, DARC NARC are projected to finish 13th in OklahomIraqis League NFC with a record of 1-12 (2,497 points).

  • David Johnson

Best Pick: What a nice mid-round bargain for DARC NARC, who got Johnson with the 1st pick of the 10th round, about two rounds later than his ADP of 106. Following a season in which he rushed for 691 yards and 6 TDs and had 33 receptions for 314 yards and 2 TDs in 12 games, totaling 180 fantasy points, Johnson is projected to score 135 fantasy points with the Texans. That makes him a valuable No. 4 RB for this squad.

  • Kenny Golladay

Going out on a Limb: Are you willing to reveal your source? We'd love to learn what prompted the selection of Golladay in the 5th round, about 19 slots earlier than his ADP of 89. Then again, maybe you're onto something. Projected to score 237 fantasy points this season with the Giants, he looks poised to top last year when he racked up 20 receptions for 338 yards and 2 TDs over 5 games, posting 66 fantasy points. Based on projections, Golladay will slot in as the No. 4 WR for DARC NARC to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • With four quarterbacks already off the board, DARC NARC saw a run developing and got in early, taking Dak Prescott with the No. 71 pick. In the ensuing round, four more quarterbacks were snatched up.

  • DARC NARC are in for a rude awakening in Week 7 when they have three players on a bye (Dak Prescott, Stefon Diggs, and Zack Moss). On the bright side, your Week 7 opponent, DominationStation, will be facing a similar conundrum with three players (Keenan Allen, Chase Claypool, and Eric Ebron) on a bye.

  • Based on projected records, DARC NARC face an uphill battle in OklahomIraqis League NFC this season with a strength of schedule ranked as the most difficult. Don't lose hope, though. Strength of schedule doesn't say anything about the work you put in. Fantasy football rewards managers who put in the work, so be sure to keep up-to-date with the latest news and hottest free agents.

  • Even with unfilled slots at QB, RB, and TE in the 5th round, DARC NARC took WR Kenny Golladay with the 70th pick, taking advantage of the multiple flex positions.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
