After drawing a juicy draft position (No. 3 overall), Arrogant Americans had an excellent performance. The team is particularly deep at running back, as Alvin Kamara and Chris Carson are expected to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league. Arrogant Americans are predicted to finish 4th in OklahomIraqis League NFC with a record of 8-5 (2,620 points).

  • Matt Ryan

Best Pick: Arrogant Americans netted a nice late-round value with the selection of Ryan in the 12th round, about three rounds later than his ADP of 123. After a season in which he threw for 4,581 yards and 26 TDs with 11 interceptions, totaling 380 fantasy points, Ryan is projected to score 408 fantasy points with the Falcons. That makes him a valuable No. 1 QB for this squad.

  • Tyler Boyd

Going out on a Limb: We're going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you stepped away right before the selection of Boyd at No. 59, about two rounds earlier than his ADP of 101. Then again, maybe you're onto something? Projected to score 236 fantasy points this season with the Bengals, he appears poised to outperform last year when he recorded 79 catches for 841 yards and 4 TDs, totaling 193 fantasy points. Boyd will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Arrogant Americans, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • With the selections of Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and Adam Trautman, Arrogant Americans had more Saints than any other team in the league. League-wide, the most popular team was the Buccaneers, as 11 of them were selected in the draft.

  • Arrogant Americans face a difficult challenge in Week 6 when they have five players on a bye (Matt Ryan, Alvin Kamara, Kyle Pitts, Michael Thomas, and Adam Trautman). Your Week 6 opponent, Hard Targets, won't be quite as short-handed with only two players (Elijah Moore and Trey Sermon) on the sideline.

  • For the first half of the season, Arrogant Americans have one of the hardest schedules in OklahomIraqis League NFC according to projected records with an early-season strength of schedule rated as the 2nd-most difficult. In spite of that, for the full season, Arrogant Americans should expect a pretty fair path that rates as the 10th toughest.

  • In spite of an unfilled slot at QB in the 7th round, Arrogant Americans chose WR Mecole Hardman with the 87th pick, taking advantage of the multiple flex positions.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
