Boom in the Endzone come up short of expectations, succumb to Naperville Methlab in 110-78 beatdown

There's no easy way to say it, Boom in the Endzone dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as Naperville Methlab rolled to a 110-78 victory. Naperville Methlab grabbed a 7-point lead on Thursday behind Russell Wilson (12 points) and never let go of it. Patrick Mahomes (25 points) and Kareem Hunt (20) carried the flag for Boom in the Endzone in the loss. Naperville Methlab (3-2) will look to keep it rolling against KGG 2021, while Boom in the Endzone (3-2) try to get back in the win column against Arizona Mini Teeth.

Coach Talk

Naperville Methlab
Earning the win is most important, Naperville Methlab, but we definitely know of one spot where we can improve as a team. Our starting quarterback was utterly outplayed this past week. Patrick Mahomes went 33-of-54 for 272 yards and two touchdowns for Boom in the Endzone, and all Russell Wilson could produce was an 11-for-16 outing, with 152 yards and one passing TD. Let's work overtime to get on the same page with our receivers this week!
Boom in the Endzone
Unless Boom in the Endzone wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing enough opportunities" isn't really a valid excuse this time around. Our four pass-catchers (three WR and one TE) collectively got a grand total of 26 targets in Week 5. Those players should try to get some extra practice reps in with their QBs, considering they pulled down just 15 catches.
