L.A. Golds succumb to Ligers in 130.28-109.59 blowout

There's no sugarcoating it, L.A. Golds underdelivered, at least compared to projections, as Ligers rolled to a 130.28-109.59 victory. L.A. Golds earned a 31.74-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind standout performances from Adam Thielen, who caught 8 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown for 20.2 points, and David Montgomery, who ran for 58 yards (10.95 points). But it was all Ligers after that. They were led by Joe Mixon, who ran for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns for 31.8 points, and Mike Williams, who caught 5 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown (19.45 points). Ligers (5-6) will look to sustain their momentum against We Run This Town, while L.A. Golds (4-7) will try to generate some positive momentum against Nick.
