Dennis's Definitive Team brush off expectations, knock off LA Love, 168.94-158.68
Both teams showed up, but Dennis's Definitive Team got the best of LA Love, earning a 168.94-158.68 win. LA Love took a 49.60-point lead on Thursday behind standout efforts from A.J. Brown, who caught 11 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown for 26 points, and Deebo Samuel, who racked up 191 yards from scrimmage (23.6 points). But Dennis's Definitive Team held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Joe Mixon, who racked up 135 yards from scrimmage and scored 2 touchdowns for 28.5 points, and Isaiah McKenzie, who caught 11 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown (23.9 points). This marks the second time this season Dennis's Definitive Team have beaten LA Love, after winning 147.74-120.86 in their last matchup.
Against the Patriots in Week 16, McKenzie scored 23.9 points to crush his 2.5-point projection. He caught 11 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown to beat his projection by the second-highest percentage of any player in the league this season. Next week, McKenzie will square off against the Falcons.

You know, the key to football is exploiting the mismatches. Fueled by some stellar yardage production from our running backs, our team really made that happen this week. Our three starting backs tallied 133 more total yards than the RBs of LA Love (286 yards from scrimmage to 153), as we ultimately tripled them at the position, 58.1 points to 19.3.
