Despite selecting with the No. 4 overall pick, FronkleBerry Crunch drafted a roster that may have trouble winning. Opponents will enjoy besting them regularly, as this team is projected to finish 12th in Ocean. While DK Metcalf, Chris Godwin, and Allen Robinson II are expected to combine for the 2nd-highest point total of all starting WR groups in the league, FronkleBerry Crunch are projected for a record of 1-13 (6,657 points).

  • Cole Beasley

Biggest Steal: What a late-round value for FronkleBerry Crunch, who selected Beasley with the 4th pick of the 23rd round, about 12 rounds later than his ADP of 127. After a season in which he hauled in 82 passes for 967 yards and 4 TDs, totaling 494 fantasy points, Beasley is projected to score 470 fantasy points with the Bills. That makes him the No. 6 WR for this squad.

  • Brandin Cooks

Stretch Pick: Either you know something everybody else doesn't or you got a little carried away with the choice of Cooks at No. 100, about 19 picks earlier than his ADP of 119. Projected to score 477 fantasy points this season with the Texans, he'll need to outperform expectations to top last year when he hauled in 81 passes for 1,150 yards and 6 TDs, posting 544 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Cooks will slot in as the No. 5 WR for FronkleBerry Crunch to begin the season.

Draft Notes

  • FronkleBerry Crunch went particularly deep at wide receiver, selecting more than any other team in the league with eight, surpassing the league average of just 5.8. On the other end of the spectrum, the team is a bit thin at running back, drafting the fewest of any team in the league with only three. The league average is 5.2.

  • Week 7 could be a rude awakening for FronkleBerry Crunch, as they have seven players on a bye, led by Cole Beasley, Marvin Jones Jr., and Los Angeles. Goldfinger Slingers, your Week 7 opponent, will have five players on a bye.

  • With a first-half strength of schedule rated as the easiest according to projections, FronkleBerry Crunch won't face too many speed bumps in the early-going in Ocean. Even so, for the season as a whole, FronkleBerry Crunch should expect a pretty fair path that rates as the 8th toughest.

  • With the oldest group in the league at an average of 5.6 years of NFL experience, FronkleBerry Crunch are relying on veteran leadership. Despite that, they still selected three rookies (Cam Sample, Hamilcar Rashed Jr., and Jonathon Cooper), the 3rd-highest total of first-year players in the league. In total, there were 27 rookies selected over the course of the Ocean draft.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
