That Hurtz hand Water Boys fourth consecutive loss in 114-86 beatdown
That Hurtz rolled to a 114-86 win to hand Water Boys their fourth straight loss. Water Boys got out to a 13-point lead on Thursday, but it was all That Hurtz after that. They were led by Ryan Tannehill (265 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 26 Rush Yds) and Joe Mixon (33 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 58 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Jimmy Garoppolo (20 points) and Keenan Allen (15) carried the flag for Water Boys in the loss. That Hurtz (4-3) will look to rack up another W against The Mayor of Dunkin, while Water Boys (2-5) attempt to develop some positive momentum against Sherlock Mahomes.
McKissic caught 8 passes for 83 yards as the Football Team lost to the Broncos 17-10. In doing so, he put up 13 points to scored 65.4% higher than his 7.86-point projection, the highest percentage of any player on That Hurtz this week. Next week, McKissic will face the Buccaneers.
Sunday Early
There were players with highlight-reel moments for both teams early Sunday, but it was That Hurtz who owned the lead, 91-44. Deebo Samuel had an 83-yard catch and a 50-yard catch for That Hurtz, while Joe Mixon had a 46-yard catch. Jimmy Garoppolo made the highlight reel for Water Boys with an 83-yard pass and a 50-yard pass.
Sunday Late
Keenan Allen had a 41-yard catch for Water Boys, who trailed 114-73 after the late afternoon games.
That Hurtz
Listen That Hurtz, I'm a "glass half full" kind of coach. While others may harp on the fact that our scoring's slipped recently, I'll choose to spin this in a positive direction. Averaging 125.67 points through Week 7, our crew has definitely proven that it's even better than the 114 we needed to win this past week!
Water Boys
Unless Water Boys wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not getting enough looks" doesn't fly as an excuse this week. Our six pass-catchers (four WR, two TE) were targeted a respectable 38 times in Week 8. Those players might need to hit the practice field, considering they managed just 21 catches.
