Steel City Irish had the No. 1 scorer in the matchup with DEF the Pittsburgh Steelers defense posting 43.4 points, the second-best total in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to topple Double E, who rolled to a 158.75-133.45 win. The matchup was decided almost as soon as it started, as Double E earned a 41.1-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind a combined 66.5 points from Tom Brady (410 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs) and Devin Singletary (110 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs). The Pittsburgh Steelers defense (43.4 points) and Derek Carr (16.75) carried the flag for Steel City Irish in the loss. This marks the second time this season Double E have knocked off Steel City Irish, after falling 141.85-117.15 in their last matchup. Double E improve to 4-12 for the season, while Steel City Irish fall to 7-9.
While running for 110 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Falcons, Singletary recorded 25 points this week. His scoring output nearly doubled his 13.22-point projection and was much higher than his 9.47-point season scoring average.
