The Phantom Limbs fall short of projections, succumb to Boats and Joes in 87.02-82.52 cliff-hanger
There's no easy way to say it, The Phantom Limbs dropped the ball, at least according to projections, as Boats and Joes staged an impressive comeback to earn an 87.02-82.52 victory. Boats and Joes trailed 82.52-77.92 heading into Monday night, but the unit made a run behind Diontae Johnson, who caught 8 passes for 31 yards and a touchdown for 9.1 points. Devin Singletary (110 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs) and Kyler Murray (263 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 44 Rush Yds) were the leaders for The Phantom Limbs in the loss. This marks the second time this season Boats and Joes have knocked off The Phantom Limbs, after winning 82.96-68.82 in their last matchup. Boats and Joes finish the season with a record of 9-7, while The Phantom Limbs end the campaign at 8-8.
Williams (88 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 19 Rec Yds) scored 22.7 points against the Bengals in Week 17. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 8.92-point projection and was much higher than his 10.61-point season scoring average.

Boats and Joes
Getting the win is most important, Boats and Joes, but we've also identified one spot where we should get stronger as a team: our quarterback was thoroughly overmatched this past week. Our one signal-callers combined for only 9.92 points in Week 17, while the QBs for The Phantom Limbs doubled us up with a score of 22.92.
The Phantom Limbs
Unless The Phantom Limbs wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not getting enough chances" can't be a viable excuse this time around. Our pass-catching corps (three WR and one TE) collectively received a grand total of 30 targets in Week 17. Chemistry could be the primary problem, as that group hauled in just 17 receptions.
