The Demon manage to knock off TheSquirter in 127.00-97.86 beatdown despite falling short of predictions

Both teams underachieved compared to their projected point totals, but The Demon did enough to knock off TheSquirter. Predicted to win by a score of 148.00-126.05, The Demon cruised to a 127.00-97.86 victory over TheSquirter. TheSquirter got out to a 15.20-point lead on Thursday, but it was all The Demon after that. They were led by Russell Gage (8 Rec, 91 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Keenan Allen (6 Rec, 78 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Patrick Mahomes (35 points) and Aaron Jones (16.66) did their part for TheSquirter in defeat. The Demon will look to keep the streak alive in the Championship next week, while TheSquirter seek to bounce back and finish the season with a win in the 3rd Place game.

Coach Talk

The Demon
Hey, we'll definitely take the win, The Demon! Having said that, if we want to ramp our performance up to the next level, then here's one area where we can improve... our quarterback was clearly outplayed this past week. Patrick Mahomes went 31-of-47 for 410 yards and three touchdowns for TheSquirter, and all Josh Allen could manage through the air was 210 passing yards.
TheSquirter
Unless TheSquirter wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing many opportunities" is definitely not a reasonable excuse this time around. As a group, our four wide receivers combined to receive a grand total of 22 targets in Week 15. With just 11 total receptions, that group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
