Trey Area come up short of projections, lose to Tatanka in 134.80-113.12 blowout
There's no way around it, Trey Area didn't do their job, at least compared to projections, as Tatanka rolled to a 134.80-113.12 win. Tatanka grabbed a 16.40-point lead on Thursday behind Dak Prescott (30.6 points) and Micah Parsons (10.5) and never gave it back. Mark Andrews (4 Rec, 65 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Michael Gallup (5 Rec, 106 Rec Yds) were the leaders for Trey Area in the loss. This marks the second time this season Tatanka have knocked off Trey Area, after winning 146.22-86.98 in their last matchup. Tatanka (10-2) will look to keep it rolling against Bizzle's Boys, while Trey Area (6-6) attempt to right the ship against Your Daddy Miguel's Swag Team.
Fournette overachieved for the fourth time this season, scoring 45.8 points against his 17.21-point projection. In a 38-31 win over the Colts, he racked up 131 yards from scrimmage and scored 4 touchdowns. Fournette ranks #30 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Falcons next week.
Thursday
Both teams had players with big-time plays on Thursday, but it was Tatanka who took the lead, 47.40-31.00. For Tatanka, Dak Prescott had a 32-yard touchdown pass and a 51-yard pass. Michael Gallup had a 41-yard catch for Trey Area, while Matt Breida had a 23-yard touchdown catch.
Sunday Early
Leonard Fournette had a 28-yard touchdown run for Tatanka, while Chase Claypool had a 41-yard catch, contributing to a 112.70-48.80 lead for Tatanka.
Tatanka
Hey, finding mismatches is the key to football, right? Not only did we double up Trey Area at RB (50.3 points to 23), we also doubled them at QB (30.6 to 12.92).
Trey Area
Unless Trey Area wants to go diva-mode on us, then "not seeing enough opportunities" is definitely not a reasonable excuse this time around. As a group, our four pass-catchers (three WR, one TE) were targeted a grand total of 30 times in Week 12. Chemistry could be the primary problem, as that group managed only 15 catches.
