Huskies come back to defeat Kentucky Zombie in 156.2-105.2 rout
Huskies rose to the occasion and beat their projected point total, rolling to a 156.2-105.2 win over Kentucky Zombie, who fell short of projections. Kentucky Zombie grabbed a 14.5-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but it was all Huskies after that. They were led by Aaron Jones (46.5 points) and Aaron Rodgers (31.8). Kyler Murray (400 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 31 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Christian McCaffrey (72 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 65 Rec Yds) led the charge for Kentucky Zombie in the loss. Huskies improve to 1-1 on the season, while Kentucky Zombie fall to 0-2.
Projected to score 27.09 points, Jones scored 71.7% more than that amount by scoring 46.5 points as the Packers beat the Lions 35-17. He racked up 115 yards from scrimmage and scored 4 touchdowns to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Huskies this week. In Week 3, Jones and the Packers will battle the 49ers.
Huskies
Hey, the key to football is exploiting the mismatches. Fueled by stellar performances by Davante Adams and Chris Godwin, our team really took that to heart this past week. We doubled up Kentucky Zombie at wide receiver (41.3 points to 18.6). Adams had 121 receiving yards while Godwin logged 62 yards.
Kentucky Zombie
Kentucky Zombie will find it tough to complain about lack of opportunity this past week. Our pass-catching corps (two WR and one TE) collectively saw a grand total of 21 targets in Week 2. With just 10 total receptions, this group may be showing signs of chemistry issues.
