BIG POPA beat James's Genius Team for seventh straight win in 122.80-92.28 rout
BIG POPA extended their win streak to seven games with a dominant win over James's Genius Team, rolling to a 122.80-92.28 victory. There was very little drama in the matchup, as BIG POPA nabbed a 66.2-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind 85.4 points from Jonathan Taylor (185 Rush Yds, 4 Rush TDs, 19 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Aaron Rodgers (385 Pass Yds, 4 Pass TDs, 21 Rush Yds). Justin Herbert (35.28 points) and Christian McCaffrey (21.4) carried the flag for James's Genius Team in defeat. This marks the first time this season BIG POPA have taken down James's Genius Team, after falling 114.52-108.6 in their last matchup. BIG POPA (8-3) will look to sustain their winning ways against Damien's Astonishing Team, while James's Genius Team (3-8) will try to get some positive momentum against KINGER 3.
Against the Vikings in Week 11, Rodgers scored 33.5 points to beat his 20.75-point projection. He passed for 385 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 21 yards to beat his projection by the fourth-highest percentage of any QB in the league this season. Rodgers will square off against the Rams in Week 12.
Sunday Early
There were players with highlight-reel plays on both teams early Sunday, but it was BIG POPA who owned the lead, 105.90-39.70. Jonathan Taylor had a 23-yard touchdown catch and a 40-yard run for BIG POPA, while Aaron Rodgers had a 75-yard touchdown pass and a 25-yard touchdown pass. Christian McCaffrey made the highlight reel for James's Genius Team with a 27-yard touchdown catch.
Sunday Night
Justin Herbert had a 53-yard touchdown pass for James's Genius Team, who trailed 122.80-74.98 after the Sunday night game.
BIG POPA
Spotting mismatches is a big component to winning in football. Case in point: we really took that to heart by tripling James's Genius Team at running back this past week (66.3 points to 21.4).
James's Genius Team
"Not getting enough looks" isn't a reasonable excuse this week for James's Genius Team. As a group, our pass-catching corps (three WR and one TE) collectively got a grand total of 20 targets in Week 11. With only 11 total receptions, that group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
