Dillon Panthers smirk at expectations, knock off High Fives in 135.80-80.76 romp

Dillon Panthers exceeded their projected point total, cruising to a 135.80-80.76 victory over High Fives, who fell short of projections. It didn't take long to figure out who would lead the way in this one, as Dillon Panthers nabbed a 40-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind a combined 44.8 points from Gabriel Davis (5 Rec, 85 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Josh Allen (210 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 24 Rush Yds). Brandin Cooks (25.7 points) and Justin Jefferson (12.7) were the leading scorers for High Fives in the loss. This marks the second time this season Dillon Panthers have beaten High Fives, after winning 146.42-105.58 in their last matchup. Dillon Panthers will look to not lose that winning feeling in the Championship next week, while High Fives attempt to bounce back and finish the season with a win in the 3rd Place game.

Coach Talk

Dillon Panthers
Assembling a lineup that won by over 55 points this past week... we did what we needed to do and took care of business.
High Fives
Well, we can't really gripe about a shortage of opportunities this time, can we? Our pass-catching corps (three WR, one TE) collectively got a hearty 29 targets in Week 15. With just 17 total receptions, this group may need to work on chemistry with their QBs.
