Back-and-forth battle ends with Axel defeating MangoKid, 217.14-178.16
Well, that was thrilling! After a back-and-forth matchup featuring three lead changes, Axel extended their win streak to five games with a hard-fought win over MangoKid, earning a 217.14-178.16 victory. Axel were led by Lamar Jackson (266 Pass Yds, 3 Pass TDs, 120 Rush Yds) and Joe Mixon (64 Rush Yds, 2 Rush TDs, 46 Rec Yds), while Nyheim Hines (20.8 points) and Josh Allen (19.1) were the leaders for MangoKid in the loss. This marks the second time this season Axel have knocked off MangoKid, after winning 189.96-154.94 in their last matchup. Axel (7-2) have now won five matchups in a row and will look to keep it rolling against Berta. MangoKid (3-6) meet BALLSWIN in an effort to right the ship.
Against the Bengals in Week 9, Walker Jr. scored 16 points to more-than-double his 7.09-point projection. He made 14 tackles and recorded a sack to beat his projection by the highest percentage of any player on Axel this week. Next week, Walker Jr. will square off against the Patriots.

Sunday Early
Justin Jefferson had a 50-yard touchdown catch for MangoKid, who trailed 151.04-148.80 after the early games.
Sunday Late
There were players with standout moments for both teams on Sunday afternoon, but it was MangoKid who grabbed the lead, 165.10-164.54. For Axel, Harrison Butker had a 55-yard field goal. Mike Williams made the highlight reel for MangoKid with a 49-yard catch.
Axel
Hey, it's good to be confident, Axel. It takes guts to play, not one, but TWO starters with zero points (Josh Sweat and Odafe Oweh), while still earning the win. Try that type of flashy, show-off stuff next week against Berta and we're sure to be toast!
MangoKid
Unless MangoKid wants to go full diva-mode, then "not seeing many chances" cannot be a viable excuse this week. Our pass-catching corps (four WR and one TE) were targeted a grand total of 31 times in Week 9. Chemistry could be the primary problem, as that group notched just 18 catches.
