Apollo fall short of expectations, succumb to MangoKid, 196.52-179.00

There's no sugarcoating it, Apollo underdelivered, at least based on projections, as MangoKid emerged victorious with a 196.52-179.00 win. Apollo took a 16.70-point lead on Thursday, but MangoKid held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Tom Brady (363 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 16 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD) and Mike Evans (6 Rec, 91 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). Dalvin Cook (35.2 points) and Justin Herbert (24.9) led the way for Apollo in the loss. This marks the first time this season MangoKid have knocked off Apollo, after falling 204.84-150.44 in their last matchup. MangoKid ends the season on a high note, but they'll miss the postseason with a record of 6-8. Apollo will also be home for the playoffs, finishing at 8-6.
