Apollo defeat BALLSWIN for fourth straight win, 188.48-172.40
Apollo extended their win streak to four games with a hard-fought victory over BALLSWIN, securing a 188.48-172.40 win. It was the fifth straight loss for BALLSWIN. BALLSWIN earned a 36.80-point lead on Thursday behind outstanding efforts from Dak Prescott, who passed for 375 yards and 2 touchdowns for 25.3 points, and Ezekiel Elliott, who racked up 49 yards from scrimmage and ran for a touchdown (16.9 points). But Apollo held the lead the rest of the way, powered by Russell Wilson, who passed for 247 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 16 yards for 19.48 points, and Odell Beckham Jr., who caught 5 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown (19.1 points). This marks the first time this season Apollo have beaten BALLSWIN, after falling 219.48-206.08 in their last matchup. Apollo (8-4) will look to notch another win against Mack North, while BALLSWIN (3-9) will take on Axel in an effort to get back on track.

As a group, our pass-catching corps (four WR, one TE) collectively received a grand total of 26 targets in Week 12. Timing and chemistry appear to be issues as that group pulled down just 14 balls.
