A-League Snipers fall short of predictions, lose to SPARK in 125.54-104.20 rout

There's no way around it, A-League Snipers didn't do their job, at least compared to projections, as SPARK rolled to a 125.54-104.20 win. It didn't take long to figure out who would have the advantage in this matchup, as SPARK leapt out to a 54.94-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind stellar efforts from Derrick Henry (40.4 points) and Lamar Jackson (28.24). Travis Kelce (5 Rec, 65 Rec Yds, 2 Rec TDs) and Patrick Mahomes (225 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 36 Rush Yds) led the way for A-League Snipers in the loss. SPARK (3-3) will look to earn another win against PROTECT THIS HOUSE!, while A-League Snipers (2-4) attempt to get back in the win column against Suave Mente Besame.

Coach Talk

SPARK
Listen, SPARK, we certainly appreciate the confidence. It takes true moxie to start a player with negative points (plus a zero-point player) while still getting the win. All we ask is to please keep that flashy, show-off type of stuff to the early regular season. Try it in the postseason and we're toast.
A-League Snipers
"Not seeing many looks" really isn't an excuse this week for A-League Snipers. As a group, our pass-catching corps (two WR, one TE) collectively received a hearty 20 targets in Week 6. Those players might need to hit the practice field, considering they recorded just 12 receptions.
