DirtBags knock off Ivan the Destroyer in 170.25-80.75 rout
Despite identical records, DirtBags held a big season point advantage over Ivan the Destroyer coming into this one (963-702), and they lived up to their reputation with an easy victory, rolling to a 170.25-80.75 win. There was very little drama in the matchup, as DirtBags leapt out to a 41.25-point lead early Sunday afternoon behind outstanding performances from Gardner Minshew II and Younghoe Koo. Minshew II passed for 243 yards , ran for 14 yards and scored 2 touchdowns for 21.55 points, while Koo made all 4 of his FG attempts (20 points). Cam Newton (157 Pass Yds, 76 Rush Yds, 16 Rec Yds, 1 Off. TD,) and Joe Mixon (54 Rush Yds, 1 Rush TD, 15 Rec Yds) did their part for Ivan the Destroyer in the loss. DirtBags (3-3) will look to maintain their momentum against Tommysterrors, while Ivan the Destroyer (3-3) will try to get back on track against Steidle66.
Squaring off against the Cowboys in Week 6, Drake ran for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns. In doing so, he put up 28.4 points and more-than-doubled his scoring projection, the fifth-highest percent increase of any RB in the league this season. In Week 7, Drake and the Cardinals will face the Seahawks.
