Raged Barbarians fall short of expectations, succumb to COVID Calamity, 112.34-99.70
There's no way around it, Raged Barbarians underdelivered, at least compared to projections, as COVID Calamity came out on top with a 112.34-99.70 win. Raged Barbarians earned an 11.8-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but COVID Calamity held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by CeeDee Lamb, who caught 5 passes for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns for 22.7 points, and Derek Carr, who passed for 311 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 20 yards (22.44 points). Adam Thielen (8 Rec, 114 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) and Ezekiel Elliott (54 Rush Yds, 71 Rec Yds) carried the flag for Raged Barbarians in the loss. COVID Calamity (2-2) will look to maintain their momentum against Black Ice, while Raged Barbarians (2-2) will face off against Cowboy Dave in an effort to right the ship.
While racking up 128 yards from scrimmage and running for a touchdown against the Ravens, Gibson put up 20.8 points this week. His scoring output more-than-doubled his 9.3-point projection and was much higher than his 12.35-point season scoring average. Gibson ranks #70 among all fantasy players this season and will face the Rams next week.
