Despite top scorer the Football Team defense, SKINS fall to Philippians 4.13, 105-97
The Washington Football Team defense accumulated 23 points for SKINS, the best total in the matchup and fifth-best in the league this week, but it wasn't enough to defeat Philippians 4.13, who emerged victorious with a 105-97 victory. SKINS nabbed a 16-point lead early Sunday afternoon, but Philippians 4.13 held the lead the rest of the way. They were led by Josh Allen (238 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 28 Rush Yds) and Calvin Ridley (8 Rec, 124 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD). The Washington Football Team defense (23 points) and Patrick Mahomes (20) led the charge for SKINS in the loss. This marks the first time this season Philippians 4.13 have taken down SKINS, after falling 142-94 in their last matchup. Philippians 4.13 will look to keep winning in the semifinals next week, while SKINS seek to rebound and lock up a top-6 finish.
While allowing only 3 points, surrendering 185 yards, and forcing a fumble against the Jets, the Seahawks defense scored 12 points this week. Their scoring output was 33% more than their 9.02-point projection and was much higher than their 4.64-point season scoring average. The Seahawks defense will face the Football Team next week.

Philippians 4.13
A big key to success in football is creating mismatches. Fueled by stellar numbers from the backfield, our squad certainly made that a point of emphasis this past week. We doubled SKINS up at the running back spot (22 points to 9). Alvin Kamara had 94 total yards and a TD, while James Robinson chipped in with 83 yards.
SKINS
You can rest easy knowing that your generosity this week didn't go unnoticed. It takes a true winner to help someone like Philippians 4.13 succeed... and when the time comes, perhaps they can return the favor by taking a couple of kickers early in next year's draft (something along those lines). Keep pushing forward, SKINS!
