Ultimate Badasses turned a solid draft slot (No. 2 overall) into a decent performance. After picking up multiple Seahawks in the early rounds (Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf), Ultimate Badasses are projected to finish 9-5 (2,777 points), which would place them 3rd in LEEIB Sports Private #561033.

  • Dalvin Cook

Biggest Steal: Ultimate Badasses netted an outstanding early bargain when they selected Cook at No. 34, about four rounds later than his ADP of 7. Following a season in which he rushed for 1,135 yards and 13 TDs and recorded 53 receptions for 519 yards in 14 games, totaling 182 fantasy points, Cook is projected to score 182 fantasy points with the Vikings. That makes him a valuable No. 1 RB for this squad.

  • Jimmy Garoppolo

Going out on a Limb: There are thousands of self-declared fantasy experts these days, so there's no telling who led you to select Garoppolo at No. 66, about six rounds earlier than his ADP of 122. Maybe you're onto something, though. Projected to score 625 fantasy points this season with the 49ers, he seems set to outperform last year when he threw for 3,978 yards and 27 TDs with 13 INTs, posting 594 fantasy points. But do you really need so many QBs? At most, you can only start two a week. Garoppolo will slot in as the No. 3 QB for Ultimate Badasses, based on projections.

Draft Notes

  • Ultimate Badasses went particularly deep at wide receiver, taking the most of any team in the league with five, outpacing the league average of just 4.1. On the other end of the spectrum, the roster looks a little thin at tight end, selecting the fewest of any team in the league with only one. The average for the league is 1.9.

  • Fashionably late? You were the last manager in the league to draft a running back and tight end with Dalvin Cook (No. 34 overall) and Darren Waller (No. 82 overall).

  • Week 10 could bring on a case of the Bye Week Blues for Ultimate Badasses, as they have four players on a bye (Dak Prescott, Younghoe Koo, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Austin Ekeler). Your Week 10 opponent, Manager-less Team, won't be quite as encumbered with only one player (Matt Ryan) getting the week off.

  • Ultimate Badasses have one of the hardest schedules in LEEIB Sports Private #561033 this season according to projections with a strength of schedule that ranks as the 2nd-most difficult. That doesn't mean you're destined to lose, though. You can't control strength of schedule, but you can control your team. Fantasy football rewards players who put in the work, so be sure to monitor your top players' health.

How We Grade

Draft grades are based strictly on teams' draft performances. This is calculated by counting the number of fantasy points teams are projected to score over the course of the season using their optimal line-ups. The grades do not take schedule into account. Because of bye weeks and other variables it is possible to earn a high grade yet be projected to finish in the middle of the pack. The opposite is also true. Bottom line: Fantasy Football is like the real game. You can draft the greatest talent in the world but you still need to manage your team every week to get the most out of that talent. As a wise man once said, "On any given Sunday..."
